Bringing Out The Potential In Students...

I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I continued tutoring young students and adults in the 1990's, tutoring Basic Math, Basic and Intermediate Algebra, Basic Geometry, English Composition, Speech, Study Skills and the Sciences. I like to closely follow the curriculum which is being taught in school. If a student shows weakness in a certain area I like to stop and explain the concept fully to them. Throughout high school I tutored my friend and neighbor, Mike, who suffers from a learning disability. I received a B.S. in Fishery and Wildlife Management (ecology, biology, and general management) from Michigan State University in 2006. I worked two years in recycling after college.
