After serving 4 years in the US Air Force I got out and completed my undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of West Florida. I relate well to high school and college students. I'm from Indiana originally and decided to come back and pursue an MBA at the University of Indianapolis. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them see the beauty of math and science. I have 4 years of tutoring chemistry labs (up to Organic II and Inorganic) and one-on-one student tutoring. I can teach: Algebra 1 and 2, Prealgebra, Precalculus, General Chemistry I and II, and Organic Chemistry I and II. I am free most afternoons after 12 PM and after 5 PM on Wednesday. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked as a synthetic organic chemist at Eli Lilly pharmaceutical company for five years. I spent the next 20+ years as a stay-at-home mom and homeschooler, teaching my three children from kindergarten until they graduated from high school.(My two oldest are now college graduates and the third is presently in college.) During my years of homeschooling, I taught both chemistry and biology to high school students in our homeschool group. I have also tutored friends who were in nursing programs and struggling with chemistry. I enjoy algebra and geometry and have done some tutoring in each subject. I taught English as a Second Language for five years to members of the Hispanic community in Columbus.
