The purpose of teaching is to help others understand something that is known as true. I was on honor roll in high school on a consistent basis. My best subjects were English and Writing. I attended Pennsylvania State University for Communications with a focus on English Writing and the study of Film and Media Arts. I have a thorough understanding of the English language and a strong knack for comprehension. I have been employed with my internship for approximately 2 years now. The company is called ChAMP (Children Achieving Maximal Potential), I work with autistic children in their homes. I follow the child's treatment plan. I work on daily living skills, personal hygiene, physical activities, practice email, puzzles/games etc. I like to have a schedule written out so that the child knows what will be expected of him/her that day. I am very organized and like to complete tasks in a timely manner. I like to address all the questions the child may have during a lesson, I try to explain things in several different ways so that child will grasp the concept in a way that makes sense to him/her.

In 2009, I graduated from Wesleyan University with two bachelors degrees, a BA in Government and a BA in Music.
