A Little Bit About Me...

In May of 2009 I graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and Chemistry. During my undergraduate career I worked a semester as a Supplemental Instruction Leader. My position required me to help further students understanding of Molecular and Cellular Biology. After I received my degree I spent a summer teaching Chemistry, Biology, and Physics to under-priviledged high school students for the Upward Bound program at The University of South Dakota. During my time at the University of Missouri-Columbia, I earned two degrees: a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Theater. I also took many writing classes, focusing on different types of creative writing, from fiction to poetry to playwrighting.
