Experience Summary
Teaching is my passion!
I have tutored various students from SDSU, USD, Brookings School Districts in addition to my previous tutoring students from GVSU, GRCC, High Schools in Grand Rapids, Grandville, Allendale school districts in Michigan state. I am capable of teaching anywhere from high-school science/chemistry to college level survey chemistry courses to university level general chemistry, organic chemistry, and inorganic chemistry (including lectures and labs). I can help student coming from any learning background (no understanding/background in chemistry to AP chemistry) and can keep them interested, challenged, and engaged while improving their subject learning and understanding to eventually lead towards advanced level understanding and performance in chemistry.
I have taught students with no disabilities and with disabilities (ASD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, etc.). I have cherished tutoring students coming from all walks of life and help them reach their full potential in the subjects I have taught them.
I am taking application from interested students or the parents interested in their pupil's chemistry/ science learning. My summer term has few time slots still available. Most students coming to me during summer are those who are preparing for advanced chemistry courses in universities/colleges during the fall and to have a better understanding of what lies ahead as they start their fall semester or school students aspiring to take AP chemistry exam. During Fall and Spring semester, I get students who are enrolled in various chemistry courses at university and school.
I provide my own notes while teaching you the concepts and you do not have to copy them. You take them with you at the end of session and bring it for the next session to make continuous notes in the same book.

Teaching Style
Being both: a researcher in education & chemistry, and teacher, I have taught using traditional method of 'chalk-talk' or 'sage on stage' as well as highly effective research based 'student centered' guided-inquiry based teaching method. During our 30 minutes initial interview we will assess the best method that will work for your best learning and we will customize as we move along in your learning journey. I am highly adaptive to the student's learning style and modify my instruction based on their needs.
