My jobs included: private secretary to a County Judge, bookkeeper, loan processor for a savings and loan, receptionist, cashier, manager, assistant librarian and owner of an electric motor repair business. As a graduate from South Dakota State University, I received a liberal arts education where I majored in Political Science and Global Studies with focus areas of history and religion. In December of 2009, I earned a Bachelor of Arts, which focus’s on the humanities with a heavy influence on writing. Through composition courses and research for term papers, I have come to love the art of writing. While attending the University of North Dakota, I was employed at a child care center where I taught children from nine months to five years of age. I completed my student teaching in Sioux Falls and substitute taught in the district from December 2007-May 2008. A Little Bit About Me...

During my time at the University of Missouri-Columbia, I earned two degrees: a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Theater. I also took many writing classes, focusing on different types of creative writing, from fiction to poetry to playwrighting. When I graduated in 2002, I spent several years in Barcelona, Spain working with college students.
