Elementary Education and ESL

In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son. He had a lot of health problems so the decision was made for me to stay home with him. When it came to Kindergarten he still had many health issues so we thought it was best to keep him home and I began to Homeschool him. Math can be fun, especially when applied to exciting applications. For my work at NASA and the MITRE Corporation I use concepts from Calculus I-II almost everyday.
