I enjoy teaching kids of all ages and get along well with them while maintaining a degree of respect from them. I am capable at keeping them on task, even with challenging personalities. I enjoy doing hands-on work as well as print focused work. I have developed patience working with my own six kids in our home. I believe strongly that one-on-one tutoring is the most effective way to help a child achieve and any child will do well when the teaching is tailored to their needs. I will work with parents and students to discover the best possible approach for their child. I do not believe in the one-size-fits-all method of educating a child.

My double major in Molecular&Cellular Biology couples biological systems and human physiology with the "harder" physical/chemical sciences. With over 5 years experience as a Medical Dosimetrist, I have only recently turned to more creative pursuits.
