I graduated with a BA degree in Music Education, and have eight years of experience teaching in public schools. I began my career as a music teacher at the middle school level, but soon realized that I had a passion for younger children. I began teaching 5K, and excelled at leading my students to becoming fluent readers by the end of their kindergarten year. I taught kindergarten for 5 years, and then was asked to teach second grade. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching and helping other students understand difficult material. I love to use diagrams and other visual teaching tools. Often I relate biology to everyday life situations to help students understand better. Every student learns differently, but the material can be understood by every student.
As a graduate student, I have successfully tutored a number of undergraduate students. I received my BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry.
