I am extremely proficient with mathematics having received a BS in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics. A Little Bit About Me...

The summer after my 8th grade year was my first experience teaching. It was there that I facilitated the younger children's use of the computer facilities during a summer reading program. After that I tutored Math, Earth Science, Physics, and Philosophy to other undergrads at my college's Learning Center. More recently I have been a coach of my own children's baseball and football teams, and a volunteer tutoring math and science at a local private school.

I love helping people learn chemistry. Chemistry is a subject that seems very hard because it is a dicipline. As a tutor I will help students to develop adequate study skills. Between the years of 1978 and 1984 I was a monitor and then a supervisor in a small Christian school using the ACE curriculum. They have various programmed learning booklets teaching all of the major subjects. You are actually more of a tutor than a teacher if you work with these booklets. I have experience in the four major areas of learning which are English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. I was with students from first through twelfth grade. While I was college I had occasion to take two years of college level English and also statistics up through 600 level.
