I enjoy working with people of all ages. My teaching style is to ascertain the current level of the student (or volunteer, employee or staff member), then proceed to educate by informing and challenging using an encouraging and enthusiastic attitude. When I make corrections, I explain why I made the corrections. I coax and challenge the student to understand why something is right or wrong so that he or she grasps the fundamentals.
As a communications professional, I have more than 20 years of experience as a writer and editor. I have mentored numerous entry-level staff members and have also been responsible for physician and sales education at several corporate entities. I have also taught volunteers and coached fellow writers.
