Want a laid back but knowledgable tutor?

I prefer to start off by making sure that students understand all underlying concepts related to the material in interests. Afterwards, I like to explain the material just as if I were teaching it, or allow students to ask questions of which trouble them most.
I have tutored for different Universities in the fields of: Biology, Organic Chemistries, Physiology, Anatomy, Zoology. I taught Organic Chemistry lectures and labs at the University of West Alabama. I will also have a minor in Physics, and a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering by the Fall of 2013. I have been a Regional Science Fair judge in the field of Biochemistry. I have presented research for the Alabama Academy of Sciences and the Association of Southestern Biologists. Also, I worked as a Process Engineer intern for BP Petrochemicals this summer (2012).

A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent college graduate, I understand the time and commitment it takes to achieve success in school. I earned a bachelor degree in chemistry with a minor in liberal arts. As a member of the chemistry honor society, I tutored students in chemistry during my college career.
I love helping people achieve their goals. I try to find things that the kids enjoy and incorporate those things into my teaching style. I graduated from Stillman College with a BS in Biology. In addition, I was a Howard Hughes Medical Research Intern where I gained hands-on experience in a research laboratory that focused on Cardiovascular diseases. After graduating from college, I started my career in Education by teaching science courses at Green County High School. I love helping others learn about science. During my two years teaching, I tutored many of my students after school. Currently, I am gaining my Master's in Secondary Biology Education at the University of West Alabama.
