I am presently teaching at the College level in the fields of Humanities and Philosophy. I am also tutoring at the tutoring center in Mathematics and the classes I am teaching. My teaching style involves demonstrating how to understand a problem or perform a task before I ask the student to do so. By facilitating students in such a way, I believe they have a more one-on-one learning experience, as opposed to a strict lecture setting. With guidance and demonstration, I believe it is easier for students to learn without pressure. I have a BS in journalism, and a specialization in advertising/integrated marketing communications. I've been tutoring for the Goodwill to help disadvantaged youth, tutoring ASU students in accounting, economics and algebra. In addition, I helped a friend pass her GED. I have a Marketing BS as well as over 15 hours in accounting and German. Professionally, I have done over 18 years of sales training. In addition, I've been a guest lecturer at Indiana University Northwest and a consultant to the Gary Area Career Center and past member for the Hoosiers for Higher Education.
