I have done private tutoring of high school students in math from pre-algebra to calculus and in other subjects. I have also home schooled adopted daughters from lower grades to high school level, including teaching English as a second language. In graduate school I was a teaching assistant in an electric machinery laboratory for non-electrical engineering majors. My own experience with standardized tests includes having taken the ACT in 1971 with scores ranging from 22 (76th percentile) in English to 31 (97th percentile) in math with a composite of 27 (93rd percentile) and having passed the GRE in 1975. I am a first year student at Stetson University. I skipped fifth grade, which is the reason I graduated early. I completed all four years of high school with A's, and only about 2-3 B's. My professional subject area is Mathematics. I took Advanced Placement Calculus 1 in my senior year, receiving a "Most Outstanding" award. I also have experience in areas such as Reading, Writing, English, and also projects.
