A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is a wonderful experience! My teaching style is laid-back, I'd say. I like having conversations in order to determine how someone learns. I think people learn best when discussing the material and really think it out before they start creating something. Guiding a student down the path of their own learning style is important because they will need those skills in the future when they go off to college or start a career on their own. I will provide students with the tools they need to succeed today and in the future!
I attended the University of North Dakota for 4 years and in that time received a BA in Anthropology which has provided me the experience and knowledge of helping people in holistic ways. While attending and completing four years of Education courses at a well respected institution I was focused and driven to complete the curriculum and focus on creative lesson planning. Maintaining a GPA of 3.6 in Education courses while participating in four years of collegiate sports really polished my ability to multi-task.
