Special Education is one of my top subjects! I worked as a social worker and coached children in the school and home setting.

I studied Elementary Education during my undergraduate. During this time, I was a student teacher on several different occasions. I assisted the home room teacher and independently planned and taught lessons to the students. I have worked with grades 1 to 5 as a student teacher. I enjoyed teaching and was a very passionate teacher, but I realized that work as a social worker would allow me to help my students on a more personal level. During my work as a social worker, I worked with clients in the school and home setting. A Little Bit About Me...

After learning various teaching and learning styles at Indiana State University, I feel it is important to find each child’s unique learning style. After this is accomplished, I then apply the teaching styles that the student will learn best from. I enjoy using visuals and hands-on activities when working with a student.
