Most of my career has been spent at IBM, where I built on my Physics background for a broad range of opportunities. As someone who felt in my youth that if I could only pay attention I could learn anything has taught me how to break down the barriers to focus and how it can shape a students success in any discipline. Focusing on my learning style has taught me how to demonstrate complex ideas in ways that are easy to absorb. I tend to find different ways to relate material to students in ways that are fun. I used a dollars and cents approach to teach young students the importance of decimals, fractions, and basic arithmetic as how it affected their own bottom line: their allowance, milk money and so on. There were many opportunities to examine and research philosophies and perform actual research as a team. I had the experience of learning a long side other students, however, I did tutor other fellow classmates at various times throughout my educational career in many venues.

I do enjoy helping anyone write a well developed and educated paper on the topic at hand. My specific style of teaching, especially for the 8th grade, is to read the current book being used, and then present my lesson with lecture, interactive discussion and comprehension, based on the age and grade of the student. I like to put the lesson into terms that the age group can relate to, and then assign a memory technique that will teach the students to recall the proper answer by using the examples we have discussed in class. That is the same method that I use myself when I need to write a paper. I read it, analyze it, comprehend it, and then write a paper based on what I can relate it too.
