I tend to use three different teaching styles. Demonstrator or Personal Model, Facilitator and Delegator. However, I find that students learn best when teaching styles best match the students learning styles.

If you have the desire to learn then you can learn!

I have worked very hard to go from learning fractions to calculus as an adult and have struggled very much with learning, but now since I have been there, I am able to help many people of all different levels in math to be successfull too! IN China they have a philosophy on teaching and learning. Learning has two parts. The first part is being taught how to do something. However it is not a complete process until the knowledge can be demonstrated by the student without the teacher. After that I continued my education at Capital University to obtain my teaching license for PK-3 regular classroom education, as well as Intervention Specalist K-12 and a Reading Endorsment K-12.
