A Little Bit About Me...

My experience as a teacher has been gained through my work at Easter Seals, a pediatric physical therapy center, for which I have taught many children skills in life, communicating, and other various skills. I believe that a good teacher student relationship is imperative. Also I think that learning is best done in a stress free environment. I strive to provide that environment for the children I assist. It is also my belief that with a little hard work, some encouragement, and lots of attention a difference can be made in someones life.
I have worked extremely hard to develop a well rounded educational background. I have earned a BS in Exercise Science, with a minor in Business Administration. I also have completed several elective math and science courses as prerequisites for a Doctorate of Physical Therapy of which I will be starting in the 2009-2010 school year. I've worked as a tutor for over 2 years at Black Hawk College, at the same time obtaining an Associates Degree. Throughout those years I've encountered many special needs students and many bright students, tutoring in subjects ranging from English, Math, Social Studies, to Computer Science.
