My comments on tutoring Marine Biology : Subject that I have taught as an elective subject.

I was employed by the Lakeland Central School District as a substitute Teacher Aide and later in a full time capacity. I worked for the OASIS Program and later at the Alternative High School. After completing my Bachelor's Degree at Concordia College, I applied for and was accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows Program. I taught Special Education at a high needs urban high school in the Bronx. This was a challenging and rewarding experience. Many of my students continued on to post secondary schools. I am currently finishing my Master's degree program at City College of New York, expected graduation is May 2013.
I have a varied style, which is geared to the learning style of my students. I teach world to text, text to text, text to life.

After attending Villanova University and Fordham University's Graduate School of Business Administration, I began tutoring part-time with Studypoint. A Little Bit About Me...

I never give up on a child. I also never push a child on any task that are really difficult for him or her. Time and patience is an important factor in teaching and tutoring. More often, as a teacher it is my duty to really know my students and the best way to approach their learning abilities. I have taught in a classroom setting for so many years, and it is sometimes frustrating to teach a concept that the curriculum as mandated by the state must be forced into a child no matter what. I have BS degrees in education and industrial engineering. I also have an MS Teachers in Geosciences. I have worked for much of my career as an engineer but have also taught earth science at the high school level for two years in the recent past.
