I am a very hands on learner so I like to get students actively involved in their learning. However, I understand that some people like taking notes and are more of a visual learner. I am very capable of approaching tutoring in this manner if that is what the student prefers. I am a junior at Rollins College studying marine biology. I have many years of experience in the sciences with my main focus on biology/marine biology. I took AP Biology in high school and have spent the past three years furthering my education in marine biology. I am also proficient at Spanish. I took it for 6 years before college including AP Spanish, and was a Spanish tutor in high school.

I have a friendly teaching style; I use a lot of sense of humor. But, this takes a lot of hard work to achieve. As an undergraduate I was named on the Dean’s list six times and was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In order to be granted this degree I was required to gain a great understanding in many areas of math and science.
