I have worked as a tutor for 10 years in all subjects, especially focusing on ESL learners. I also remember showing my Alg2 students why borrowing works using $1, $10, and $100 bills and trading with the bank. They were so excited to finally understand subtraction. What a thrill for me! After graduating with a degree in history as well as with completion of pre-medical requirements I started tutoring students grades k-12 as well as college students in math, science, english and reading.
