I have tutored for many years. I first started tutoring in High School, then while I was in College and lately for the neighborhood children. I have brought younger children up to speed in reading (k-5). I have worked with children in Middle School and High School with their math work. I have tutored pre-algebra and algebra. I have a completely hands on approach to teaching. I work with the student to see what it is they understand and what they do not. From there we work through the different areas until the student fully understands what they are missing. This allows for the student to feel as though they have a sense of accomplishment.

I am a current student at UNLV earning my dual Bachelor degrees in Marketing and Health Care Administration. During my time as a student I have helped tutor my brother and friends in various subjects from English to Math. I have been able to develop my grammatical skills through extensive report and research papers and many communications and writing classes. I believe children learn through experiences. I encourage children to work through what they are having difficulties with and guide them through the correct process.
