A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with children, and believe that all kids have the ability to achieve anything. As long as their mentors can give them an extra boost to understand certain concepts their ability to accomplish their projects and earn exceptional grades are endless. My teaching style is to guide them through the learning process and to make sure they have a firm grip on their subjects when we complete our tutorial.
I started my college career at Drake University as a Mass Comunications major. I changed schools and recieved a double major in Business and Economics. My approach to teaching is comprehensive and challenging. I believe in getting to know the strengths and weaknesses of my students and customizing the curriculum for optimum growth. My approach is to empower the students to achieve by teaching them the steps to attacking a challenge and working them trough it. A Little Bit About Me...

I started teaching in 1970 as a K-8 substitute, continuing until being hired by a private school in 1975. I then taught full time in East LA. Upon moving to Wa. and being certified here, I taught in several schools in differing cultural settings untill recently starting my own business in Newport.
