Ever since I was in 1st grade I have wanted to be a teacher. I am currently going to Brigham Young University- Idaho to get my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. My teaching style depends upon the learning style of the student. For example, if the student is a visual learner then the student is taught using pictures, books, charts, etc. Or if the student is an auditory learner then the student is taught orally with pictures, books, charts used as supports. I like to have visuals. They are important no matter what age. i use powerpoint, pictures, think of stories, and try to get the students involved as much as they can. Each class is started with a question and answer period about any nutrition issue they might have.
