My comments on tutoring Hearing Impaired : I have worked with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in academic and social environments. I have worked in in ASL, Signed English, SimCom, and Oral environments.

I am a flexible tutor and am able to switch up my teaching styles based on the strengths, preferences, interests and needs (what I like to call their SPINs). I try to meet each individual student's needs using a variety of teaching strategies and techniques based on their learning style(s).

My passion for teaching is open forum. I meet the students where they are. some are visual, some hands on and some automated. I pace the student and test in areas of weakness. I provide computer advance learning as well as class and peer mentoring. I use all types of devices such as field trips, school resources, library and hands on life experences to get the students more involved.
