I also am a strong believer of parental involvement. A parent knows their children's learning patterns best. I like to use different approaches. If learning is looked at as boring or hard students will try to avoid it, when learning is fun students learn without realising the work involved. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a working graphic designer for most of my life after graduation from Ohio State. After 12 years of design I was asked to participate in an art and education program at Chicago Public Schools Autism Program. I was hired on the spot and then continued with education by obtaining a masters degree in special education in Tempe Arizona. In Arizona I was assigned as an inclusion teacher for 9, 10 11th grade English. I had to accommodate diverse learners and plan instruction.
