All can learn, the difference,some just take a little longer

Patient and motivated
I have been teaching high school math in the San Antonio Texas Charter system. I was hired as a highly qualified teacher and l recently retired in 2012. I believe all students are capable of learning the materials but unfortunately some students need more time or direction. In my fifteen years as a teacher l never felt like l couldn't help any student learn. What l definitely have learned is patient and understanding for those students that l had to help with more time and examples.
