When I taught sailing to young kids, I used to dress up like a pirate. I have lots of energy. I know I'm doing my job right when kids start laughing. When I taught to teenagers, I kept in mind my own experiences at that age. I am a recent graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a BA in History and Social Sciences and a total GPA of 3.57. This plan of study exposed me to a wide variety of courses aside from history including psychology, English, computer skills, and sociology. Additionally, I have worked for more than 2.5 years as a teacher's aide. I began at LEARN and I currently work for Waterford Public Schools.
