Speaking is one of my top subjects! I have a PhD in Educational Leadership, a master's in English, and have taught at a four-year university and a two-year college (including compositions, communications, and public speaking). I have also worked with HS students in college preparation skills.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children and students of all ages. I was a volunteer at Shriners Childrens Hospital for many years in the recreational therapy department. I was a "class teacher" at a friend's daycare part time, and I held a summer job as a lifeguard and swim instructor for many years. I find that when teaching something new or difficult, it is best to find a way it relates to each individual. Once you discover this, you can make it fun and relavent for them.
As a graduate of a Health Science program at a competitive public university, Clemson University, I showed an understanding of many science disciplines.
