My comments on tutoring Drama : I was very involved with theater in high school and learned a lot about acting and auditioning.

I like to see examples of what the person is having difficulty with in order to pinpoint problems and then work on them from there.
I am currently an English major, specifying in creative writing, at Virginia Tech. In high school, I took both of the offered AP English courses and passed with a 4 on both. In college, almost every class I have taken has been English-oriented, with regards to either literature or writing. When it comes to helping others, I have been editing friends' papers some in high school and multiple times weekly in college. I am able to find what they are doing wrong and constructively advise ways to fix their problems with writing.

I am a creative teacher, meaning that I assess the individual and do not have an agenda that I adhere to. Normally, I am able to advance a child a grade level in reading with three months of tutoring and reinforcing homework, during the summer. However, I will go the extra mile to help a student be able to totally understand what I am trying to help them learn. I have numerous children's educational CD-ROMs for the children who learn better with that visual help. I love to watch children learn and love to be the one who makes them able to succeed. I love working with children. When i was younger I had a job helping my aunt with her daycare business. I have five nieces and nephews, six siblings, two god children and one Daughter. I was a tutor for the School of Business and Economics in Elizabeth City where I earned by BS in Business in 2003. I tutored beginning through Intermediate accounting, Principles of Marketing and other business subjects from 2000-2003. I was a formal tutor for one year and a student tutor for 2 years. I currently tutor family members, friends and church members in all basic elementary through college subjects. (ex. Algebra, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting, Statistics,English etc. ) Basically, if you have a book or instructions we can get a passing grade out of the class.
