I have over fifteen years of combined experience teaching high school English, ESL, TOEFL and GED exam preparation as well as extensive experience tutoring and giving individual and group English lessons. I currently teach literature at a private secondary and high school and I coordinate and teach classes in a specialized ESL program that I founded. My previous experience includes teaching high school English for over ten years and working as a faculty member in the Adult Basic Education department at a state university.

From elementary school to college I have loved education and learning which has been exemplified by my gifted and honors status. I have earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Science, which has strengthened me in the areas of math and science. I also have a balanced knowledge of writing skills from writing countless research papers, laboratory reports, and essays. During the last four years I have worked as an Environmental Scientist.
I love teaching and working with all children. I have worked in both industry and government working on a worldwide basis with people of varying cultural backgrounds. I have traveled extensively in my profession. Over the last several years I have been involved with several business and working extensively with the Native American pueblo communities. In terms of tutoring, teaching, or mentoring I have worked with children of all ages in reading and math tutoring principally as a volunteer.
