My comments on tutoring Sculpting : The world is 3 dimentional. People love to walk around an object, be it a display of clothing or a new car. Its out there,It casts a shadow you can touch it, it has volume.If it is a peice of art that they walk around and see how it possibly reflects the surroundings it can be classified as an experiance.

I go down the path of the students direction and try to help shape their vision that could lead to their goal.
Ive been involved in the visual graphic arts for 50 years. I have done every thing from airbrush t shirts in the 60s to build a huge sculpture for a local hospital. Ive worked with every material available to the public.Currently have a sculpture studio. Capable of working in metal and all plastics.We are now casting parts for the casino business. It consists of dragons that the eyes and other parts light up.These will be distributed world wide. Much of my work with the gaming industry goes to cruise ships and overseas.There is a need for sculpting and original art in that venue.

I am a graduate of SDSU and a mother of two children. One graduate and one in highschool. I have volunteered many hours in elementary and middle school classrooms. I have helped our children and others with various classes and I am committed to helping each child learn and grow to their highest potential. I believe that every child is a gift and that each one is motivated and learns in unique ways. I feel like it is important to connect to students on a personal level yet still retain a professional attitude. Children tend to respond to someone who is fun and friendly, instead of a person who chooses not to connect with students in this way. I am very passionate about learning and teaching what I have learned to others. I think if you can get a child interested in a subject he or she will be more willing to learn and enjoy his or her work more because he or she is personally benefiting from it.
