I have always believed that the best way for someone to learn is to put the information into terms that are understandable to them. In the past I have used illustrations, acted out scenes from battles, utilized initialisms, and made up songs to help students learn concepts. As a graduate of a small liberal arts college, I have spent many hours volunteering to help tutor my classmates in both biology and the humanities. I hold a bachelor's degree in biology. I have learned extensive grammatical skills through my school's intensive general studies program. I am confident in my ability to tutor students in mathematics, science, English and the humanities at the K-12 level and biology and English at the college level.
