I graduated with a BS in history in 1996. After nearly seven years working for a large communications corporation I returned to college to get my teaching credentials. I completed a years student teaching and have taught middle school and high school at a local private school. At that school I often tutored students, offered help on my own time, and was the monitor of the school's study hall, Homework Club. Since 2009 I have taught adults at a local technical college. As a lifelong musician, I have always allowed my passion for music to drive me towards excellence in a variety of instruments. I have played guitar for 10 years and regularly perform in both church and secular settings. Because I also play bass, drums, keyboard and sing, I have a great feel for how each instrument fills a specific role in the overall sound you are trying to create.
