Each of us has a different way of learning but the first step is to appeal to a student's natural inquisitiveness. If they can see real life applications for the skills they are learning they will become engaged and enthusiastic. Although I do not hold a teacher license I was given to opportunity to teach using an emergency license. I currently work with homeschool students to progress through their school year in an alternative learning environment.

While earning my Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing, I served as a tutor in general education at the elementary level.
