Russian is one of my top subjects! I have much experience teaching and speaking Russian. I have taught Russian at BYU for 2 years, so I would especially love to help BYU students as I know how the program is set up and the requirements the managers of that department set.

Every student has a different learning style and I therefore, have multiple teaching styles to accommodate. I believe in learning through experience and therefore provide my students with real-life examples and tasks to complete so that they are more able to function in Russian settings. I also include learning of Russian culture in my teaching because understanding culture is important to understanding language. Activities are engaging and not simply rote memorization. My students get to use their skills in practical settings and even talk to native Russians.
I have a masters in Second Language Teaching specialty- Russian from BYU. Russian is one of my top subjects! I teach Russian right now for my Job. I teach at the Missionary Training Center. I teach missionaries who will be spending two years in Russia/Ukraine. I speak fluently because I myself spent two years in Russia, and I have been teaching it for over a year. I have also successfully completed two Advanced Russian Courses at Utah Valley University.

I am a College Student working towards getting a Secondary Education Teaching degree in Biology and Chemistry. I want to eventually go on and teach at the University level. Come and Learn the Russian Language

Preferred teaching style is one on one. Depending on skill level of student, we would strive to speak as much in Russian during the time allotted. Immersion is the best way to help someone grow in the language.
I have lived in Russia for the past two years doing service. My duties included interacting daily with Russian people, maintaining discussions on a wide variety of subjects, and offering translation/interpretation services to those who did not know Russian or knew little. Learning and helping others has always been a great desire of mine. In 2013 I went on a 2 year LDS mission to what was then the Russia, Vladivostok mission. For those two years I lived in Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude, Russia which is in Southern Siberia and then lived in Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, and Ussuryisk, Russia which are cities on the Eastern coast of Russia. I lived for a total of 6 months with native Russians and only spoke Russian for those 6 months which really helped me to master the language. When I got home in 2015, I took high level Russian classes at Utah State University and received a minor in Russian. I still keep in touch with friends in Russia and talk to them frequently so I don't forget.
I like to make learning fun. Russian is a hard language to learn and can be very challenging. At times, it can be discouraging and so if it is fun, it will take much of that stress off of the learning and help what you learn to stick in your head. As ... read more
