The Achievement Centers, our after school tutorial/diagnostic clinic and before and after school care, is available for all ages and subjects. Tutoring and diagnostic testing is available after school, evenings (Monday – Friday) and Saturday mornings. The clinic is available year-round. Our testing clinician and school psychologist offer a Psychoeducational Evaluation to all new students. The testing is scheduled for two three hour sessions on separate days during after school hours. The evaluation consist of various test measuring a student’s cognitive abilities, processing skills, IQ, and academic levels. Education: BS.ED in English and minor in education; At least 60 hours beyond my Masters in School Administration in various subject areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Animal science.
Prefer to facilitate learning and provide more hands on activities. Try to connect reading with writing as the two subjects are very much intertwined in the skills they take. Great at teaching across the curriculum to help students in subject areas that require reading of nonfiction

I belong to Mensa and the NCTM, and have excellent English and decent Spanish speaking and writing skills. I have taught and tutored in mathematics and computer science for quite awhile, and I earned a 95% on my PSAT and a 32 on my ACT.
Generally, I'm a constructivist, and I believe the best method of tutoring is providing a completely individuated scaffold for any student.
