I have 15 years experience as a special education teacher. I have taught in urban settings and have the patience to work with difficult behaviors as well as challenging learning deficits. I have created test taking skill strategies for special needs students that have been very effective in my classroom. I prefer to teach children at their interest level and ability level to lessen frustration and promote academic success.
