A Little Bit About Me...

My education at NYU and my Bachelor of Science degree, gave me a solid foundation because I had the knowledge and confidence upon which to build my teaching career. The classes and student teaching experience exposed me to a wide range of teaching styles and demographics. After having my own family, my empathy and understanding of children increased in a positive way. I especially have enjoyed working with the developmentally disabled hand have helped them achieve goals that once seemed impossible to obtain. My people skills have kept me available to keep an open line of communication between the school and the family.

Having received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University and the University of California in the area of physical science (Atmospheric Science), I have attained a high level of knowledge in multiple areas ranging from Math and Science (particularly Physics) as well as Chemistry and Biology. In addition, while at Cornell University I earned a Minor in Communications focusing on both Written and Oral Communication. Regarding my abilities as a tutor, at Cornell I was employed as a Teaching Assistant for two upper level courses in the area of physical science. Lastly, as a local graduate of Queensbury High, I have first hand experience with New York State Regents exams.
