I am graduating in May,2010. I have been tutoring for more than two years at the Bowling Green State University Firelands College. I have tutored many subjects including Accounting, Finance, Economics,Statistics, Microsoft Word, Excel and many other business classes. A Little Bit About Me...

I started tutoring in 7th grade back in 1976. I have been tutoring my own kids for over 14 years. I have been a Scout leader for over 9 years. I worked with boys ages 5 to 18 years of age. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders. I have presided over the Parental Acceptance Committee for both Fremont and all five of WSOS HeadStart Counties and all the centers in the School Districts of those counties. I am working on my Associate in Electronics and Computer Technology. I am also working on 17 IT Certificates and 9 Windows Certificates. After I get my ECT Associate I will start working on my BS in Electrical Engineering.

A Little Bit About Me...

I obtained my BA in Social Work and have worked in that field since 1993. In 2005 I began a part time job as an Adult Education instructor for Sentinel Career Center where my primary focus was language arts/writing. I was part of the STAR reading program where I became certified to teach adults to read. In this program and as a GED instructor I have tutored many individuals of varying ages, education levels and backgrounds. I love working with children. I believe that every child has the potential to learn, and as a tutor I work to find which way the child learns best, whether through sports or music, or other various activities. I am extremely patitent and understanding, and I am eager to help children. I strive to help children better themselves.
As a Psychology student, I understand the importance of learning. I tutored middle and high school aged children in all subject areas, particularly in math.
