Science and Math Tutor!

As a supplemental instruction leader, I created and lectured curriculum based lesson plans three hours a week to college students. I would teach anywhere from one student to multiple students. I tutored students in various levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I provided assistance with test-taking strategies and study skills for college mathematics courses. I also have a lot of knowledge about science. I graduated with a bachelors in biology from the University of South Carolina and I have taken extensive science courses and can teach almost all types.

A Little Bit About Me...

I worked at Elohim Center tutoring the kids at an after school homework center in Hartsville, SC. I also worked at Hartsville School of Performing Arts for a short time period. However I provided assistance to the teachers and mentored the children that had potential, but didn't have the extra push in life to motivate them to be more. I worked at Billie Hardee Home for Boys in Darlington, SC as a volunteer I provided teen age boys the assistance in tutoring them with math, reading, and science. When I taught German I conducted my class almost completely in German (the beginner level), and while this would seem difficult for the students to learn my students scored excellently on their tests.
