A Little Bit About Me...

In my experience, I do not teach but simply assist people who need it. In college I helped my friends by explaining how to correct their writing, and offering advice. I am patient and willing to help as best as I can without being condescending towards students.
My experience is more hands-on and personal, I suppose. I love history and write constantly, in addition to having a great interest in photography and television. I majored in American Studies which focused on history and culture in the US, and minored in Creative Writing and Digital Arts. My comments on tutoring Writing : I have always enjoyed writing and viewed myself as a good writer

In my experience as a student, I have often questioned the teaching methods of many teachers and professors. I sometimes realize more effective ways things could be explained, once I understand it. My comments on tutoring Writing : I have taught writing at the 8th and 9th grade levels and have tutored friends at the collegiate level.

I have been teaching for five years. My first year teaching, I worked at a private Christian school in NY where I taught History, Science, and Math.
