Spanish is one of my top subjects!

Throw out my high school year I was in a program called “Learn and Serve”. This program consisted of going to the closest elementary school for an hour a day and be a teachers aid. Therefor, I help any student who was having difficulties. In some cases would even help teach a lesson if the only adult in the room was a sub teacher.
I find diffrent ways to help children understand what they are learning in a fun way.

Junior in high school at Edmond North. I help peers of mine with help that they may need. I am in Pre-Ap Spanish IV, and will be continuing my studies to earn my minor in Spanish. I am also in school, so my mind is fresh off what I am also being taught. I have straight A's with one or two B's occasionally. I am in NHS- National Honor Society and I strive to do my best.
I am very simplistic when it comes to teaching. I like to over-exaggerate the thought behind the theory, so that the student could understand the full concept behind the reasoning.

We spent a year of intensive liguistics training which enabled us to start teaching in Spanish the following year. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I am continuously complimented on my Spanish skills by people with Spanish as their first language. I learned Spanish through living with a family of Mexican heritage, through my personal relationships in our local Hispanic community, 3 years of High School Spanish, working at The Latino Community Development Center, and several trips to Mexico. I have been told that I have teaching techniques for difficult Spanish pronunciations, that help the student pronunciations Spanish vocabulary with greater ease.

My experience of learning Spanish as a language began at the age of 9. I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry. While getting my bachelors degree I tutored in subjects such as reading,writing, math, and science as well as art.
