I was a peer tutor for four years as a student at Lubbock Christian University, working with fellow students in English, history, study skills, GRE prep, philosophy, and algebra. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and learning. I made the Dean's List the entire time I attended UNM. I have always had a passion for education. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education, which has enabled me to teach kindergarten through 12th grade. I also obtained my master's degree in Literacy at UNM. I was a Reading Specialist for three years and love working with children and helping them with their reading skills. During the last ten years I have taught kindergarten through High School and tutored students in reading. I have also substitute taught in an array of classes from science to social studies in the public schools.
