Progress not perfection

In school I'm often choosen to help other students learn material that they are struggling with. Elementary Math is one of my top subjects! I have a technique for teaching elementary math to even the most uninterested student. All of my children knew their multiplication tables at age 5. It's about making it fun.

I have a law degree, but most of my experience comes from working with my own kids and spending hundreds of hours volunteering at their schools helping other children. I home schooled my children for 3 years for the middle school years and so I have experience motivating the surly teen who has no motivation to work as well as the young child that just wants to play. I also taught my children and many others how to read at very young ages and have perfected the technique for teaching children math and reading who love to move. One of my children had ADD and so I know how to work well with this issue. I also have a technique for teaching multiplication and math to very young children. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked for one school year as a substitute for both Hanover County and Louisa County, I am Currently employed by Hanover County Public Schools as a teaching assistant while continuing my work on my graduate work. I will still be employed by hanover County Schools for the 2009-2010 School year.
I work well as a one on one special education aide because my attention is soley on the activities and education of my students.
