I am a native French speaker. Also fluent in North African Arabic. I received a scholarship from the Euris foundation in Paris, France, which allowed me to come study in the US in 2010 at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. I, then, went back to France for my last semester and graduated from University of Orleans' Law School. I am currently in Louisville, KY and can therefore teach French or Arabic to children, adults. My comments on tutoring Arabic : Experience in Modern Standard and Levantine dialects

I have held private sessions for students at Centre College to learn both Spanish and Arabic, and have served as a translator during my college choral group's tour in Spain. I have over six years of experience speaking Spanish and three and a half years of experience speaking both Modern Standard and Levantine dialects of Arabic.
My preferred teaching style is immersion, which in my experience encourages the rapid initial skill development necessary to learn a second language.

I have a friendly teaching style; I use a lot of sense of humor. But, this takes a lot of hard work to achieve. The reason I am able to teach French grammar in a non-intimidating, almost very relaxing way, is because I had to master it. I have a way of getting closer to my students and to their difficulties by having the ability to relate almost every chapter I introduce to my personal experiences. And, I have anecdotes almost about any new topic I present. I am a story teller in that sense. Sometime my students beg me to tell them more anecdotes. I tell them if they want to hear more stories, they have to do this, or that. And almost always agree with smiles that seem to say “you got us!”
