I have 20 years of teaching experience. I am an Orton Gillingham trained reading tutor for students with reading delays and dyslexia. I teach both math and reading in a multi-sensory way in which students can experience learning with both their hands and mind. I spent one year tutoring accounting students who had difficulty grasping the basic concepts of accounting. I was able to explain the accounting concepts in different wording than the text books and I also created a "cheat" sheet to help them understand how to handle different accounting transactions.
