My comments on tutoring Language Arts : Currently teach high school English and have also taught middle school Language Arts and College Level English classes.

I have 15 years of experience teaching students at all ages and all ability levels. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Teaching. I am certified and highly qualified to teach English and History at the 6-12 grade level (and college). I am also certified and highly qualified to teach students with Emotional Impairments and Learning Disabilities. A great deal of my teaching career has been spent educating students in lock-down juvenile detention settings. I became a substitute Teacher in 2000, in which I have taught grades K-12th. I currently substitute in the Flint Community Schools and in the Genesee Intermediate School districts. As a group leader in the after school program, I assist with homework help in all subjects.
