A Little Bit About Me...

I began tutoring in sixth grade when I voluntarily gave up my lunch recess each day to help in a first-grade classroom. I continued to tutor my peers in high school. After I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, I was chosen by the Mayor of Bremerton to teach English in Japan for three years. Upon my return to the United States, I immediately went back to school for my teaching certificate in Elementary Education. I also worked as a Para educator in a special education classroom where I continued to use my teaching skills. I’m currently working as a guest teacher for two different school districts, teaching nearly all subjects in grades K-12.

I love teaching, organizing, planning... This past year, as a college professor, I worked with students ranging from 18 - 60 years old. I was a substitute teacher in Athens, GA for grades Kindergarden through 12th grade. I am patient, creative, dependable, and hard-working. I am dedicated to inspiring students to enjoy learning and see the wonderful abilities they possess.
As a graduate from the University of Georgia's pharmacy school, I am qualified to tutor in the following areas: health, chemistry, biology, math... I have also played the piano since 1992, took 10 years of lessons, and would love to offer piano lessons. The past year and a half I was a college professor and director over a pharmacy technician program in Myrtle Beach, SC.
